For this project, the beneficiary aimed to increase the number of accommodation units intended for children’s camps, requiring additional dormitories as well as sanitary facilities.Currently, the building has a ground floor plus attic (P+M) structure, with accommodation units located only on the ground floor, in two dormitories.
Through the extension and attic conversion, the ground floor will maintain its current layout while expanding with an access node for circulation to the attic and an area designated for sanitary facilities. The attic will be completely reconfigured, being demolished and rebuilt with a wooden structure. Read more

From a volumetric perspective, the proposed concept for the attic aims to create an impression of massiveness, taking the shape of a „heavy box” that firmly rests on the existing structure, namely the ground floor. It is supported by a laminated wood structure, which allows for the creation of a portico area, adding an element of transparency and openness.
The attic is also highlighted through the choice of materials and colors. Using flat seam green metal sheets, it contrasts with the ground floor, which is clad in wooden paneling, giving the building a contemporary appearance that blends harmoniously with the natural surroundings.
As an accent, metallic elements with a distinct pink hue have been inserted, marking the edges of the main façade.
