Amont Chalet consists of two identical A-frame cabins, beautifully perched on the hills of Peștera village, nestled between the Piatra Craiului and Bucegi Mountains. These cabins offer direct, breathtaking views of the surrounding majestic mountains.
One of the standout features of an A-frame house is that the roof extends all the way down to the foundations, creating a distinctive silhouette. The triangular shape of the house allows for large glazed areas, letting in an abundance of natural light and offering panoramic views of the stunning landscapes. The eastern side faces the Bucegi Mountains, while the western side looks out towards the Piatra Craiului. Read more
Despite the narrowing of room sizes as you move towards the top of the cabin, the perception of space remains unaltered thanks to the expansive windows.
Each Amont Chalet cabin spans 180 square meters, spread over two levels plus an attic. They can accommodate up to 12 people.
The interior spaces are designed to be as open and airy as possible, ensuring that the decor does not compete with the outdoor beauty. The style is contemporary cozy with Scandinavian influences. On the ground floor, there is an open space comprising the dining area, conversation area, and kitchen; a sanitary group, a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a technical room.
On the first floor, you’ll find a second bedroom with its own bathroom, a sauna, and a terrace. The attic houses two additional bedrooms and a bathroom.
The main structure is complemented by a secondary structure that provides additional strength and is also visible in the interior, adding to the aesthetic appeal.
